De bergwind uit Epirus waait onze Stage 1 binnen: Villagers of Ioannina City komt met een nieuwe plaat in aantocht naar Patronaat op woensdag 18 maart. De Griekse heavy-rockers mengen psychedelische en stoner-grooves met de ziel van de Epirotische-folklore. Sinds doorbraak Riza en het veelgeprezen Age of Aquarius bouwt VIC aan een unieke signatuur: kosmische, groovende heavy rock waarin eeuwenoude Epirotische motieven samensmelten met moderne fuzz. De band vergaarde ondertussen en live-reputatie die festivalweides van Hellfest tot Graspop aan het kolken kreeg. Nu luiden ze een nieuw hoofdstuk in: Venceremos verschijnt in het voorjaar van 2026 via Napalm Records.
