For twenty years, the Portland-based Dark Metal band Agalloch defined a unique sound blending various genres into a cinematic and brooding experience. Over five albums and several EPs, their music explored existential themes of nature, death, metaphysics, and loss. Since their 2016 disbandment, the band has returned for highly exclusive performances, focusing on creating immersive environments with imagery and elements from their Pacific Northwest home to elevate their concerts beyond typical metal shows.
