Improvement Movement, the Atlanta-based prog-rock quartet and self-described social betterment campaign, presents their new record, Your Perfect Real Life. Arriving via ATO Records, the album is a prismatic and eccentric exploration of modern unpredictability, featuring baroque harmonies and experimental instrumentation. The band, consisting of Tony Aparo, Clark Hamilton, Marshall Ruffin, and Zach Pyles, has spent the last two years touring with acts like Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Khruangbin, developing a cohesive sound that balances positive dispositions with reflections on futility and acceptance. This live performance aims to alchemize personal and collective trials through the power of group singing and instrumental synergy. Supporting the night is Adron, an Atlanta-bred and LA-based singer-songwriter known for her global pop synthesis, kaleidoscopic guitar work, and unique vocal style. Her music blends soothing beauty with whimsical expression, as heard on her album Water Music and recent singles.
