Barbès' long-running series Tropical Vortex showcases a wide array of tropical styles from Latin America. This edition features Tumbao, a USA/Peru-based ensemble that blends Salsa, Cumbia, Rock, R&B, Funk, and Afrobeat to create a modern Latin sound. The performance includes live music and DJ sets. Past editions of this series have featured diverse artists spanning cumbia, chicha, guaguanco, mambo, and other vintage styles.
