After starting to build a small backline we can say WELCOME to a series of shows curated by @hiddenbehindmist at Time is the new space, experimenting and highlighting local acts. This first edition will welcome Rotterdam based acts; Sleeping Village an extension and side project of Nikolaos Kalavrytinos from Gulls of Rot, as well as a second show for Poortgebouw’s very own {No} Screaming at Pigeons, and the so called algorithm rejects No Refunds. Sleeping Village Sleeping Village is the solo version of Gulls of Rot. It is a project created mainly from the need for further exposure to create a Free improvisation of doom roots narrative driven by distortion, ambience, and riffing, electronic, and psychedelia. Accompanied by live visuals by hiddenbehindmist {no} screaming at pigeons Intensely local and loud act, nested up above Poortgebouw, except for one sexy bird from Latvia.
