Doka Studio with Lysah and Ajuma at Doka Amsterdam

Nijmegen’s rising talent Lysah joins seasoned curator and Parotia founder Ajuma for a night at Doka focused on warm atmospheres, soulful melodies, and a deep love for synthesizers. This pairing brings together two selectors who share a talent for creating a welcoming, high-energy floor. Ajuma is an ardent music lover known for her ability to spark joy through surprising and obscure finds. Her sets weave together elements of Afrobeat and disco with the driving energy of house music; an approach she also brings to her own club night, Parotia, which focuses on community and gender equality in the booth. She is joined by Lysah, a key figure in the Nijmegen scene and co-founder of SoundLab Nijmegen.
