A nostalgic baroque night.
The Academy of Ancient Music collaborates with the circus ensemble Circa for a physical reinvention of Beethoven’s only ballet. This production retells the myth of Prometheus, who brought divine fire to humanity, for a modern age of revolution. The performance combines Beethoven's sublime music with the creative physicality of world-class circus performers to celebrate the composer's anniversary year.
