Academy Symphonic Brass presents a celebration of Scottish trumpeter, composer, and arts educator John Wallace, who served as Head of Brass from 1992 to 2002. The programme features movements from The Invisible Symphony, a monumental antiphonal work for five brass choirs reimagined by Wallace from Gabrieli’s Canzoni et Sonate. The performance also includes works by Storace, Birtwistle, Tippett, Markéta Conková, Laura Jurd, and Britten, conducted by Simon Wright.
