An uplifting orchestral night.
The Los Angeles Philharmonic presents a concert series designed to ignite imaginations and shape young lives. This program, specifically created for children ages 5 to 11, features the world premiere of a new work by Carlos Simon. Inspired by Benjamin Britten’s The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra, the performance introduces the various instrument families through engaging music and text by spoken word artist Marc Bamuthi Joseph. This 45-minute performance offers a morning of musical celebration in a world-class venue.
