Emily Francis Trio

Led by keyboardist Emily Francis, with bass maestro Trevor Boxall and drum superstar Jamie Murray, the Emily Francis Trio create an original style of high-energy, melodically-driven jazz. Their sound is fueled by influences from progressive rock, pop, and electronic music, building on the classic piano trio format with an emphasis on high-intensity improvisational interplay. Since their formation in 2014, the trio has built a loyal following among jazz and prog enthusiasts. Their 2022 album, LUMA, received critical acclaim and features on JazzFM and BBC 6 Music. The band has headlined venues across the UK and Europe, including performances at Ronnie Scott’s and major jazz festivals in London, Manchester, and Cheltenham.
