Leonid Kogan

Born in 1924, Leonid Kogan was a master Soviet violinist recognized as one of the greatest virtuosos of the 20th century, renowned for his intense technique and vast repertoire.

He is celebrated for his extensive classical discography, concert performances across the globe, and a notable, brief screen appearance in the film My Night at Maud's.

He was a long-standing professor and pillar of the Moscow Conservatory, where he influenced generations of musicians.
