Fernanda Silveira leads a weekly Choro jam in the front room of Barbès with Regional Samauma and special guests. This casual gathering features virtuous musicians exploring the Brazilian traditions of choro and traditional samba. Fernanda Silveira is an accomplished cavaquinho player and a disciple of Luciana Rabello. She has collaborated with notable artists including guitarists Maurício Carrilho and Yamandu Costa, clarinetist Nailor Proveta, and mandolinists Pedro Amorim and Miltinho Mori.
