Cardinals have emerged from a small, dark rehearsal space on the northside of Cork city with a debut album that swings between extremes of darkness and light. Moving from hopefulness to despair and compassion to chaotic indifference, the five-piece has positioned themselves at the vanguard of the Irish independent rock scene.
