Chanel Beads

Chanel Beads is an experimental solo project by Minnesota-born Shane Lavers. Having started music production in 2016, Lavers eventually moved to New York where his early releases gained traction for their androgynous vocals, eerie artistry, and touching intimacy. Over the years, the project evolved from house concerts and illegal shows in abandoned tunnels to opening for artists like Lorde. His second album, 'Your Day Will Come', continues to blur the lines between analog and digital, featuring guitars reminiscent of medieval string instruments and mechanical drums. Chanel Beads' music remains difficult to categorize, refusing to be captured in a single genre or limited by specific production methods.
