Carnegie Hall opens its 2026–2027 season with an Opening Night Gala featuring the Berliner Philharmoniker conducted by Kirill Petrenko alongside tenor Jonas Kaufmann. The program highlights an all-Italian selection including Verdi's Overture to La forza del destino, arias from Giordano's Fedora, Leoncavallo's Pagliacci, and Cilea's L'arlesiana, as well as tone poems of Rome by Respighi.
