Underground βραδιά early modern classical
Französische Str. 33D, 10117 Berlin, Germany
Classic modernism and contemporary music meet intellectual reflection and playful creativity in this program by Tamara Stefanovich. Together with Nenad Lečić, she performs music for two pianos, featuring Claude Debussy’s Jeux and Bernd Alois Zimmermann’s 1964 Monologues, which quote from Debussy’s work. The second part of the evening shifts into improvisation as Stefanovich performs with her avant-garde quartet SDLW. This ensemble, consisting of Stefanovich, Dell, Lillinger, and Westergaard, explores how new and unexpected sounds can emerge from the moment.
