Soul of the South is a curated music series celebrating high-quality live performance. This edition features Mom Tudie, a South London producer and artist whose sound blends soul, R&B, jazz, and hip-hop. Having taught himself production after being raised on a rich diet of jazz and pop, Mom Tudie creates what he describes as DIY Jazz R&B. His music is rooted in live musicianship and collaboration, offering an sound that is simultaneously intimate, expansive, and eclectic. He brings his intuitive reworked classic influences to the Freight rooftop for an authentic live music experience.
