The Higher Fidelity
The Higher Fidelity takes over Honey’s, a meadery in Bushwick’s warehouse district, for a night spanning two floors and two formats for a free night of dancing. Down in the winery, it’s wax only with vinyl selectors Marteen, Tim Lucent, and La Vega digging through records, anchored by classic 4/4 house foundations while pulling from jazz and deeper organic grooves as the night moves on. On the rooftop, Arroyo, J.N.R. and The HiFi’s own ANDI WALL explore the outer edges of the dancefloor, serving up a curated cocktail of sounds from tribal rhythms and cosmic melodies to UK bass, spacey prog and house.
