Founded in 1956 by Dominick "Mimi" Sannino, Mimi's is one of the few remaining authentic Italian restaurant piano bars in New York City. Open mic nights are events where performers, from singers to poets, take the stage to share their talents in front of a live audience, providing a platform for emerging artists to gain exposure and connect with fellow creatives. This specific format is for vocalists who can sit in with the house band.
