To celebrate Georges Aperghis' 80th birthday, the Greek Composers' Union presents a tribute to his work and a music theatre workshop. The event features two final concerts: the first showcasing workshop participants and their original compositions, and the second featuring Aperghis' own seminal music-theatre works including 'Recitations', 'Le corps à corps', and 'Fidelité'. The composer will be present for a round table discussion between the performances. The event concludes with the Union naming him Honorary President, marking a significant milestone for the avant-garde composer's career and influence.
