Underground βραδιά experimental
For the Kyiv Biennial's closing weekend and as part of Berlin Art Week, the Berlin-based artist duo LABOUR presents 'soft thought', a newly commissioned performance. Rooted in electronic and experimental music, their interdisciplinary practice operates at the intersection of sound, performance, and spatial composition. Taking its title from the everyday expression 'soft thought' and scholars Luciana Parisi and Stamatia Portanova’s eponymous essay, the work explores a mode of thinking that foregrounds openness and relational fluidity. The four-hour multi-performer piece features no fixed beginning or end, remaining in continuous flux as percussion, spatialized sound, ecstatic dance, conversations, moving image, and live acts emerge and dissolve across the venue's entire building.
