Underground, αργή βραδιά contemporary classical
The 6th edition of the AGGREGATE festival, organized by the Berlin-based ensemble gamut inc, explores the intersection of centuries-old mechanical instruments and contemporary computer control. Spanning two days at iconic Berlin venues including St. Hedwig’s Cathedral and the Konzerthaus, the event presents new artistic approaches to sound design and experimental music. Highlights include a performance of Tristan Perich's 'INFINITY GRADIENT', a large-scale symphony for pipe organ and 100 loudspeakers in 1-bit audio, alongside a new work by Mauricio Silva Orendain and a collaborative piece by Marcel Andreas Ober and Benjamin Geyer.
