Anna Prior

Anna Prior, a familiar face for Metronomy fans and Soho Radio listeners, is much more than a drummer. Having always been in bands, she’s also a long-time DJ (since she was old enough to get into clubs) and now artist in her own right, offering up electronic beats that bring together the percussive and the dreamy into a transportive, immersive and sonically rich listening experience. Born in the north of England in the 1980s, Anna began her career in music 20 years ago, perfecting her craft and gaining invaluable experience as a performer in the live music scene - more notably with Dev Hynes aka Blood Orange and with her friends and co-conspirators Metronomy, with whom she has been going steady for over a decade. Her latest E.P. Firefly is due for release on Beat Palace Records in February 2026.
