From the moment he picked up an acoustic guitar, Tommy Cullen wanted to make music and little else. He grew up in a world of art, the son of creative parents – his father is the celebrated painter Stephen Cullen – and his songs found their first outlet with alternative rock band The False and the Fair, who eventually broke up after a six-year run on Dublin’s underground scene. Starting over again as a solo artist, Tommy now self-produces homemade recordings of ambitious scope - often in collaboration with London-based producer Marcus Jay. Over the past two years his debut album, 'Enjoy the Glow' - along with his 'Live at Workmans' EP - has reached thousands of fans across Ireland, the UK and northern Europe. His recent 'Gatehouse Recordings' compilation has been warmly received by fans, and new single 'Song 4 Juliet' is the first taste of his next EP.
