Liverpool indie-rock risers The Memos are entering a bold new chapter. Led by Aaron Spencer, the band have built a reputation for raw live energy, heartfelt songwriting and relatable lyricism — blending Britpop spirit with driving indie-rock ambition. Now stepping into what they call “Memos 2.0,” their sound is evolving — bigger, more expansive, and pushing confidently into fresh indie pop synth rock territory. Their debut EP Futures Ours to Find has surpassed 45,000 streams, earning airplay from Amazing Radio, Sirius XM, and coverage from Earmilk and This Feeling. Their upcoming single 'Hit & Run' has already received airplay on BBC Introducing Merseyside. As EARMILK put it, “The Memos are setting themselves up as an alluring yet grounded act whose emotive musicality draws us in with each note,” while This Feeling described them as “destined to connect with the masses.” Spencer’s songwriting journey has included collaborations with Kyle Falconer of The View and Justin Hawkins of The Darkness. Renowned for their high-octane live shows, The Memos have performed to 10,000 people at the Halliwell Jones Stadium and continue to expand their audience both on stage and online.
