Νοσταλγικός καλλιτέχνης garage rock
The Liquorice Experiment exists through a lysergic point of view. Amidst a garage-psych bubble loaded with trembling guitars and dark echoed riffs. Their new album ‘Million Faces’ was recorded at Estudios Circo Perrotti in Gijon led by the musician and producer Jorge Muñoz Cobo (Doctor Explosion, Las Munjitas del Fuzz). An eight-song LP that sometimes sounds like Electric Prunes, Music Machine or even the most psychedelic Yardbirds. Since the start, they have been part of events and festivals like Purple Weekend, Ebroclub, Berlin Beat Invasion or Brighton Mod Weekender sharing lineup with renamed artists like Kula Shaker, Temples, Elephant Stone, La Luz, Los Bitchos, Mystic Braves and Twink. "The Liquorice Experiment fuse psychedelic curiosity with garage punk attack, resulting in something powerful, addictive and intense". CLASH Magazine
The Liquorice Experiment plays a blend of psychedelic and garage rock, heavily influenced by the vibrant sounds of the 1960s, often compared to bands like Electric Prunes and The Yardbirds.
