Tales for the Tillerman

Tales for the Tillerman is a vibrant and adventurous collective, blending jazz, pop, ska, reggae, soul, and rock into an eclectic sound that invites listeners on a journey through various musical landscapes. The band was formed in 2021 from weekly jam sessions at the Zuckerzauber Bar in Berlin, uniting eight talented musicians under the vision of singer-songwriter Janosch Puhe. The band's name was born during a night of conversations and chords, where they discussed what music truly means to them. Feeling like sailors on a little paper boat, they embraced the currents of funky, pop, reggae, and ska genres, exploring new waters without fear.
