STEGREIF - THE IMPROVISING SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA Without sheet music - Without a conductor - Without chairs: Stegreif - The Improvising Symphony Orchestra is a collective of 30 international, cross-genre musicians who combine the heritage of classical compositions with improvisation and regard the classical symphony as the starting point for a new concert experience. Playing these recompositions by heart creates freedom for movement, interaction and immersive spatial concepts. The orchestra has performed on renowned stages such as the Berliner Philharmonie, the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and at festivals such as FUSION.
