Ντόπιος, underground καλλιτέχνης experimental hip hop
One of the most inventive, controversial, and closely watched artists of the 2020s, SNVRK (pronounced SNARK) has become a defining figure in the rebirth of New York sound. The Brooklyn-born musician, scientist, CEO, record executive, producer, and fashion designer created a multimedia universe that links music, mythology, and street performance into a system that merges sound, industrial design, and recurring symbols. Known for his hi-vis orange aesthetic and large-scale Ticketcore activations, he brought guerrilla art into global conversation with the 2026 “Ticketstorm,” a citywide installation of 100,000 fake parking tickets across Brooklyn Heights. Born Caleb Gottfried in 2006, SNVRK began drawing mainstream attention at 17 with a blend of jersey club, experimental rap, and emotional R&B. A brief fallout with Playboi Carti’s Opium collective in 2023 sparked SNVRKOLEPSY, his debut album released in 2026. The 11-track ritual explores collapse, betrayal, and rebirth with contributions from Martin Shkreli, Funk Flex, and SNEAKO. Through his independent label SNVRKOTICS, he approaches music as architecture and fame as a long-form experiment. His releases operate inside a broader framework of film, fashion, and civic intervention. With SNVRKOLEPSY now released, SNVRK stands as one of the most original and divisive voices of his generation, building a system that exists at the edge of art, media, and engineered spectacle. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
