Silas Bassa

Born in Santa Fe, Argentina, Silas Bassa begins his piano studies at the age of five. Throughout his career, he has performed numerous solo concerts at important theatres and halls in South and North America, Europe and Asia. In addition to the traditional classical music performances and to his brilliant interpretations of the core piano repertoire, he’s also developing a reputation as a talented composer. In constant artistic developement, he proposes to open new doors for the role of the performer, by developing a personal musical path while building a creative programme for each of his performances. He has created several artistic projects working in association with different directors, film-makers, actors and choreographers. In 2020 he releases his third album entitled « SILAS» (Klarthe Records-Pias distribution), his most personal album to date. Composer and performer of each of the ten pieces of this opus, he unfolds a fascinating world, simultaneously both very modern and resolutely timeless.
