Καλοδουλεμένος καλλιτέχνης drum and bass
With a sound rooted in scientific precision and bold innovation, Dr. Apollo is transforming the landscape of drum & bass. His music spans legendary labels like Armada, Dim Mak, Joytime Collective, Ram Records, Metalheadz, Hospital, Viper and many more. Marshmello personally selected his remix of “Bad Boys” for his official Roots Remix EP, highlighting his unique ability to bridge underground depth with contemporary sound design. His catalog features the groundbreaking debut album The Simulation—the first full-length LP from an American on Ram Records —alongside the genre-blending Cómplice EP on UKF’s Pilot label and the high-energy crunk/trap infused Low Rider, which reached the Beatport Top 10. Classically trained in Los Angeles and mentored by AR Rahman, Quincy Jones, and Drumma Boy, Dr. Apollo fuses advanced harmonic theory with cutting-edge bass engineering. His innovative fractal-based wavetable formulas, inspired by the Fibonacci Sequence, were adopted as default presets in Xfer’s Serum 2. From winning Insomniac’s Discovery Project and making his festival debut at EDC Las Vegas to electrifying stages at Cyclops Cove, Countdown NYE, HARD Summer and plenty more all over the world, Dr. Apollo crafts more than music—he engineers the future of drum & bass. It’s science.
