“Every musician is an optimist,” says Singapore-born artist MYRNE (Manfred Lim). “To create is to have faith in futurity.” With his euphoria-tinged DJ sets and introspective approach to songwriting, it’s hard to find someone more optimistic. Getting his start in 2015 with a debut on Mad Decent, he's worked with dance music titans like Diplo & RL Grime; remixed Lauv, Becky Hill, and Martin Garrix; and was the first Singaporean artist to play at festivals like Tomorrowland, Ultra Miami, & Hard Summer. Recently returning to his roots in trance & progressive, MYRNE has become one of the rising stars of deep house imprint This Never Happened. His work has also received support from the likes of Above & Beyond, Sasha, & Tiësto; in 2024, his first release on This Never Happened (Close The Distance) instantly became a fan favourite. Since then, he’s released 3 EPs (The Four Stages / Heal EP / Field EP ) and collaborated with the likes of Le Youth & Shallou. In 2025, Heal (with Shallou) took the #1 spot on SiriusXM Chill’s regular rotation for two months. In 2026, he released ‘Adelie’, a career-defining collaboration between MYRNE and Lane 8; an euphoric, peak-time cut that instantly became one of the year’s most beloved tracks on the imprint. His eclectic approach to electronic music — often combining field recordings, classical instrumentation, and textural ambient with a keen club sensibility — has cemented MYRNE as one of melodic house’s most exciting acts.
MYRNE blends future bass, deep house, and trance, often incorporating classical instrumentation and field recordings, as heard on his 'Heal EP'.
