MVDI, born Mahdi Er-Rachti, is a Moroccan DJ and producer emerging from the global Afro House scene. Blending African tribal rhythms with modern electronic textures, he crafts a distinctive sound that is organic, percussive and deeply immersive. With several years of experience behind the decks, MVDI spent over four years as a resident DJ in well-known clubs, where he developed a strong connection with dancefloors and refined his energetic yet hypnotic style. In the studio, MVDI focuses on creating Afro House records that fuse traditional instruments, powerful percussion and melodic electronic elements. His productions aim to capture the essence of African musical heritage while delivering a modern club-ready sound. A major milestone in his career came with his collaboration with Adassiya on the track Runaway, which has surpassed 2.5 million streams, gaining international attention and expanding his reach within the electronic music community. MVDI has released music across several electronic music labels and continues to develop new Afro House productions while collaborating with artists from around the world.
