Big compliment!" - Till Brönner Maik Krahl's debut album, Decidophobia, was released in 2018, followed by Fraction (2020), featuring Seamus Blake. With his quartet, Krahl has performed extensively at leading jazz clubs and festivals across Germany and beyond. Krahl has also appeared as a guest musician with the WDR Big Band in concerts and productions. In 2023, he received the HI Five Music Award and is a three-time scholarship recipient of the Werner Richard – Dr. Carl Dörken Foundation, most recently with his quartet. His third album, In-Between Flow (2022), features world-renowned guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel. The Magic of Consistency followed in 2024, once again featuring Seamus Blake on saxophone. In September 2026, Krahl will release his fifth album, Rain, Flowers and New Beginnings.
