Jaco8gale is the experimental pop project of Greek-raised, LA-based artist Jakub Gale. His musical journey began in the 2010s as frontman of Coretheband, an indie outfit that made waves across Greece and Europe, opening for artists like Arctic Monkeys, Alt-J, and You Me At Six. Their music was featured in the acclaimed Greek drama “Η λέξη που δε λες”, and in 2015, the band placed 4th representing Greece at the Global Battle of the Bands in Norway. Gale also briefly explored hip-hop in the late 2010s through 73100, a side project that shared stages with Greek rap heavyweights like TOQUEL and Sin Boy. Following the pandemic and the dissolution of those projects, Gale relocated to Los Angeles, where jaco8gale was born. His 2023 debut album, “aliens were always real”, introduced a vivid narrative centered on a character named Jamie, a vessel for themes of mental health, heartbreak, and modern existentialism. The album’s sold-out release party, hosted by media collective Dumb Days, cemented Gale’s arrival in LA’s alt scene. In 2025, he returns with BUSTER BUSTER —☆ a raw, introspective sequel exploring the cycles of self-destruction and the cosmic repetition of life lessons. It’s a question he poses both to himself and his listeners: “How many times does the universe have to teach you a lesson before you’re ready to listen?”
