Göksel

Göksel is one of the exceptional female artists of Turkish music with her unique voice and is also one of the poetic songwriters of Istanbul, the city where she was born. While Göksel's songs offer an alternative to Turkish pop music, they have a timeless and universal quality with acoustic, electronic, and ethnic sounds. Göksel has mainly sung her own compositions since her first album, ''Yollar'', which she released in 1997 with the support of Sezen Aksu and Onno Tunç. Göksel, who has been active and creative in every period of her career, has released 9 studio albums and 7 singles from the first days of her professional music life. Her last single “Sen Varsın” was released on 9th of December, 2022.
