Cameron Campbell is a pianist from Worcester, Massachusetts. With 9+ years of experience in jazz and improvised music Cameron is a passionate and driven musician. He is also a composer having written a book of 50+ original compositions that have been realized by his working quartet. Cameron has most recently recorded and toured The United States, Europe, Japan and Brazil with three time Grammy-winning vocalist Samara Joy. Cameron has also had the privilege of sharing the stage with Jeff "Tain" Watts, Kendrick Scott, Jaleel Shaw, Ingrid Jensen, Maurice Brown, Marcus Gilmore and Camille Bertault as well as recording with Samara, Christian McBride and Billy Hart. Outside of jazz he played keyboards for Geordie Greep (black midi) first U.S. solo tour since the band announced their hiatus. He is also a member of the New Haven based improvisation group trance macabre. Cameron has performed at venues throughout America and the world including; The Hollywood Bowl, Blue Note Place (Tokyo), Ibirapuera Auditorium (São Paulo), Vivo Rio (Rio De Janeiro), SF Jazz Center, The Deer Head Inn, The Jazz Gallery, Mezzrow Jazz Club and Smalls Jazz Club. A former student of pianists Marc Cary and Christian Sands, Cameron is establishing himself on the NYC scene and beyond with plans to release music coming soon.
