Alessandro Sgobbio

Composer, Pianist, Producer, Alessandro Sgobbio keeps expanding his personal vocabulary of compositions, improvisations and spiritual explorations throughout music. One of the best new jazz talents of the year according to the Italian TopJazz Polls, Sgobbio has earned Master’s Degrees at the Norwegian Academy of Music (Norway) and the Parma Conservatory of Music (Italy), releasing 15 albums as a leader / co-leader. His recent albums “Forests” (2019), “Transparence” (2021) and “Piano Music” (2022), “Piano Music 2” (2023) and “Piano Music 3” (2025) have been albums of the month / album of the year on Musica Jazz, Europe Jazz Network, Jazzism Magazine, Il Manifesto, All About Jazz and several international press outlets. In 2025 he participates to the soundtrack of “Severed” by Jen Marlowe, premiered in New York City.
