Underground καλλιτέχνης alternative rock
Translated from the French phrase 𝐋’𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐥 𝐝𝐮 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞, "𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐨 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐝" describes the strange psychological impulse many people experience when faced with a fearful height—the sudden, inexplicable urge to jump. London-based four-piece 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐨 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐝 (𝐂𝐓𝐓𝐕) channel that same tension and intensity into their sound. Fronted by 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐎𝐬𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞 (vocals) alongside 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐌𝐜𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞 (guitar), 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 (bass) and 𝐆𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐰 (drums) the band fuse brooding alternative rock with visceral heaviness and raw attitude, channelling the raw spirit of 80’s & '90s rock’s darker lineage. Drawing influence from the melodic sensibility of Placebo, with the gritty punk energy of Soft Play, the gothic weight of Type O Negative and the uncompromising bite of 𝐌𝐲 𝐑𝐮𝐢𝐧, 𝐂𝐓𝐓𝐕 deliver deeply rhythmic, high-energy rock noir, layered with foreboding tones, snarling vocals and haunting, cinematic drama. Marking the first chapter of their journey, 𝐂𝐓𝐓𝐕 unleash their debut EP 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝑶𝒇 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 in 2026 —a collection that captures the band’s cultivated sound and rising momentum. Leading the release is the explosive single"𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞", a cathartic blast of fearless energy, the track expels demons through an unapologetic affirmation of revival and self-assurance. "𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞" delivers a defiant middle finger to the past — a reawakening of trust in one’s inner voice.
Call To The Void plays a blend of brooding alternative rock and visceral heavy rock, drawing influences from the darker lineage of 80s and 90s rock.
