NIKI DAWSON is a singer-songwriter that gained recognition as a contestant on Season 1 of The Voice in 2011. Making her TV debut to the world at 19, she later went on to appear on American Idol (Season XV), TV Guide, and being featured on MTV's pilot show, 'Copycat'. Following her television appearances, Niki faced significant health challenges, including a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis and a life-threatening reaction to medication called Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. Despite these obstacles, she continues to create music, drawing from her experiences to produce raw and emotive work influenced by Alternative R&B, Pop-Jazz, and Hip-hop.
