Award Winner, New York City based vibraphonist, composer & arranger Simon Moullier has distinguished himself as one of the leading voices of his generation and became recognized for his entirely new approach and sound on the instrument. After being mentored by Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, & Jimmy Heath at the Thelonious Monk Institute & Darren Barrett at Berklee College of Music- he has since worked with Gerald Clayton, Ben Wendel, Terri-Lyne Carrington, Buster Williams, and is featured on recording with Mark Turner, Kendrick Scott, Miguel Zenon. As a bandleader Simon has released four albums. One of which was nominated in the "Best New Jazz Artist" category at the Jazz Music Award in 2022. In 2023, he won a GRAMMY Award as an arranger on Terri-Lyne Carrington's "New Standards Vol 1", and was also named Rising Star Vibraphone Player of the Year in Downbeat's 71st Annual Critics Poll.
