JoJo Effect is an established electro lounge project from Germany that has achieved international success. For the past 16 years, JoJo Effect has been producing stylish and contemporary lounge music, incorporating elements of nu jazz, electroswing, and Latin music. The producers behind JoJo Effect are Jürgen Kausemann, Kitty the Bill, and Maxim Illion, who is also known for his work with Club des Belugas. They are considered pioneers in their genre. JoJo Effect's music often features collaborations with extraordinary singers. Some notable artists they have worked with include Dennis Legree, a Californian soul diva, Brenda Boykin, a jazz singer, Iain Mackenzie from London's BBC Big Band, Loona Mour, Nelly Simon, and Anne Schnell. Their music has gained significant commercial success, with over 1.5 million CDs sold worldwide. Additionally, their songs have been licensed more than 700 times for various projects and compilations. JoJo Effect's music can be found on well-known compilations such as Café del Mar 13 & 14, Erotic Lounge 6, Bar Lounge Classics Bossa, Claude Challe select 2008 Brazilectro 8, Klassik Lounge, Paparazzi, Smile Style, Campari Lounge Café Ibiza, Kampen Grooves, Latin Garden, Easy Beats, Chill Out Café, Café d'Afrique, and Nu Jazz Divas. In 2008, one of JoJo Effect's tracks titled "Moods" was licensed in Asia for the TV advertising campaign of the company Nivea. This demonstrates their international reach and recognition.
