Opal Ocean
From street corners to world stages, Alex Champ & Nadav Tabak have built Opal Ocean into a global acoustic/prog-rock powerhouse. Fusing flamenco flair with rock energy and progressive fire, the duo’s two-guitar sound has captivated audiences from Melbourne to Montreux. Their breakthrough album The Hadal Zone (2020) featured Dream Theater’s Jordan Rudess and cemented their reputation for jaw-dropping musicianship. In 2023, they released their first live album, capturing the raw electricity of their shows, and have since lit up festivals like Earth Garden (Malta), Montreux Jazz (Switzerland), FMMS (Portugal), and Festival du Bout du Monde (France). Now signed with Midnight Mango (2025), Opal Ocean are entering their most ambitious chapter yet. With a new space-inspired album on the horizon, they continue to push boundaries—two guitars, limitless worlds!
