Traversing between headphone listening and euphoric dance floor journeys, Fluida’s music manages to be both club friendly and intimate. The result is a breadth of sound that connects deeply with people both in the early evening and at those special moments in the early hours of the morning. Following several multicoloured ‘Spiral’ releases on Fatboy Slim’s Southern Fried Records, the pair quickly garnered diverse support from DJ’s such as Joris Voorn, Sasha, Roger Sanchez, Matthias Meyer, Lee Burridge, Tiesto, Audiofly, Kölsch and Pete Tong. Further releases have come via Anjunadeep, Get Physical, Kindisch, Supernature, Flying Circus and Do Not Sit On The Furniture, alongside a series of vinyl only cuts on the duo’s own imprint. Fluida’s unique live/DJ set continues to set them apart, incorporating the steel pan ‘hang drum’ featured on many of their tracks. This live instrument in the DJ booth offers a unique energy and an immediate connection with the audience. The pair regularly share their eclectic tastes through radio slots on Bloop London and Ibiza Sonica.
