The Invisible Panchos
An underground boom bap artist.
San Diego natives (Barrio Logan & Chula Vista), The Invisible Panchos is the live performance project of rapper KILLcRey and producer Gene Flo. Longtime collaborators and solo artists in their own right, the duo came together to create not just music — but living, breathing art. Rooted in the soul of boom-bap Hip-Hop, but reaching for galaxies beyond, The Invisible Panchos blend raw lyricism, cinematic soundscapes, and immersive storytelling. Their latest project, LAYERS, is an ambitious concept album and multimedia experience — exploring the idea of artists as astronauts, navigating isolation, discovery, and the gravity of home. KILLcRey is a futurist, rapper, visual artist, and co-founder of the Hip-Hop collective Platform Collection. Gene Flo is a producer with credits alongside Noa James, 2Mex, 60 East, and NPR’s The Parker Edison Project, as well as host of his own all-producer radio show. Together, The Invisible Panchos are building a space for independent artistry — where mental health, creative freedom, and community come first. Hip-Hop as therapy. Performance as ritual. Sound as exploration. This is music for the outsiders, the overthinkers, and anyone trying to make sense of their own orbit. Welcome to Astronaut Camp.
