A high-energy phonk artist.
Hailing from Southern California with roots from Nicaragua, RIAA Certified Gold Producer, Tacet forges a sound that merges phonk, metal, and underground rap into a supersonic, earth-shaking assault. His discography is known for its explosive guitar-driven chaos—every kick, sharp snare, and distorted riff hitting with the force of a riot. Drawing influence from the Third World, Tacet turns his music into controlled destruction. A member of Ramirez’s G.O.D.S collective (a subdivision of G*59), Tacet has produced for a wide roster of underground heavyweights, including $uicideboy$, Ramirez, Sick Jacken, members of Schemaposse (the camp that birthed Lil Peep), Ghostemane, and the legendary Raider Klan—former home to Denzel Curry, Xavier Wulf, and Chris Travis. His fingerprints sit across an entire generation of dark underground music. On the mic, Tacet fires off lyrics like a chamber emptied—raw, volatile, and unfiltered. Every show becomes a war zone, and every release pours gasoline on the fire. From his thrash-metal fronted band DEATHWATCH to his indie project Phantom Indigo, anything he touches pushes the boundaries of aggression, emotion, and originality. The free leader of the Third World Posse, known by many names—“The One Who Shall Not Be Named,” “He Who Remains,” or “Yung-T”—Tacet still poses the same question: “Who want the war with T?”
