Chaotian is a Danish death metal band formed in 2017 by Søren Willatzen and Andreas Nordgreen. Originally set out to play death/thrash, the band quickly formed into a death metal outfit when their need for dynamics and sonic chaos became more and more prevalent. Their take on death metal has been described as brutal leaning, drawing inspirations from many USDM groups yet firmly within their hometown's iconic style of filth-ridden and visceral Copenhagen Death Metal. The band joined forces with Jonas Grønborg shortly after its formation, and shaped its roots from the demo years up til their debut album Effigies of Obsolescence. The band has since then parted ways with Jonas who was replaced by Mads Køie Nielsen, and subsequently toured with Demilich in Scandinavia, SEDIMENTUM in Canada, in Mexico and several shows in Europe.
