Soft Palms is a Long Beach-based duo crafting expansive, hypnotic soundscapes from the comfort of their home studio. Kugel (of The Coathangers, Julia Julia) takes the lead on guitar & weaves ethereal vocal layers with lyrical urgency, while Montoya (formerly of the Growlers) shapes the sonic architecture with meticulous drumming & a vintage-informed approach to engineering and instrumentation. Soft Palms' newest full length album IN ECHO is due out 6.19.2026 via Everloving Records.
