Sahara Grim holds an eclectic background spanning bossa nova, jazz, classic rock, and Indian classical music. Active in the underground LA music scene, Sahara joined minds with producer & artist Luke Temple (Art Feynman) in the creation of her debut album Fable, released in February 2025. Instrumentalists on Fable include experimental harpist Nailah Hunter, Stones Throw artist Lionmilk & long time collaborator NUFFER. Sahara’s ancestral roots in Japan and India are seamlessly interwoven within her musical path, from studying sitar at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, where she focused on world music & jazz, to performing in venues across Japan. Sahara has shared the stage with The Marías, Charlotte Day Wilson and Léa Sen among others.
