Dear Banshee
Bay Area-based quintet Dear Banshee blend alternative rock with ambient and electronic elements to create lush and moody soundscapes that push the boundaries of traditional independent rock. The band's ability to switch between multiple instruments throughout their performances captivates their audiences. Their eclectic, ethereal sound has garnered praise from various music reviewers. They have been active on the San Francisco music scene since 2017 and have played beyond the Bay Area including Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington. They released their debut album ‘Viva Guernica’ in 2019. During the pandemic they released their 2020 single “Plagued” accompanied by a stop motion music video. They released their second full length album ‘Wake of Modern Life’ in 2023 and have been playing all over promoting it. In late 2024 they released a live song called ‘Just Like Yesterday’ from a live in studio concert on their YouTube channel. In 2025 they released two new songs titled ‘With Your Eyes Wide Open’ and ‘Bloom Into You’ They have planned many shows on the west coast. They are currently working on their third LP.
